BenFit was founded in 2018 by Benjamin Jakob. During his business and finance studies, he was already interested in fitness and healthy nutrition and began posting healthy recipes for fitness enthusiasts on Instagram. This resulted in what is now the widest-reaching food account with a reach of around 7 million followers and an active community.
The exchange with the community gave him the idea for the recipe of a healthy high protein toast bread, which quickly inspired the first customers. The range now includes around 30 products and, in addition to the online store, is also available in over 700 grocery stores such as Flink.
